You want to be making good trades, and the armour plating will get a few random bounces. Mobility is good but not tier leading, and I think that’s fair on account of the higher alpha alone. HEAT round penetration is much better than the Mecar, but not as good as the legendary Chinese pre-nerf Po-365 round the Hype gets. You have 200 less DPM than the Hype 62, and much less than the Ru or Black Dog, but you will actually out-DPM the SP I C a little. You get a 90 mm Rheinmetall, which is a copy of the Austrian Mecar off the Spähpanzer I C, to which it actually compares rather favourably. First of all it’s quite a looker, a baby Leopard 1 for sure. So what’s to like about the little Kunze? And personally, I wouldn’t mind dropping a little gold on this one. This one? I hear is’t difficult, but shouldn’t be completely impossible. Event tanks seldom are, except when actually getting them seems very unlikely. So is it a little enthusiastically balanced? No. You won’t get sick of them they way you might your old IS-6 or IS-5. Premium Light tanks, by definition, are practically always worthwhile, because they always present a challenge. I think it looks cool, and it’s fun to drive, which is really all the recommendation you need for a free premium Light tank. I drove the tank in testing, so I’m already a little familiar with it. They are about playstyle and camo on the move, and that’s really all they need to be worthwhile, even if the rest of the statistics are decidedly uninspiring the Hype 64 being an excellent example. You can side scrape a tier VIII Medium tank in the Kunze, but not a tier VIII Heavy tank, for example.īut of course Light tanks aren’t about armour unless they are Russian. We are talking 30-40 mm instead of 20-25, meaning at certain angles, lower caliber guns will bounce where they would overmatch thinner armour. It doesn’t have the tier leading DPM of the Leopard, but it does have a 90 mm gun at tier VII, and it’s actually a little more sturdy than other same tier Light tanks, excluding of course the LTTB. The Kunze is a tier VII Ru 251, or perhaps a downtiered Leopard 1 with Light tank camo on the move. I’ve not caught up on the details, but if you are reading this, then you likely have a different question, namely: “Is this tank Elitist enough, and should I therefore try to get one?” So I’m hearing you might be able to get the new tier VII German Light tank for free this week.
